"We are also conducting state level KARNAPEX 2019, a philatelic exhibition from October 12 to 15. During the occasion, we are going to release a postage stamp on late George Fernandes to pay tribute to him. This is the first time, a state level exhibition is going to be held in the city. Stamp is a medium which is more effective to recognize culture and heritage of the country. I want this philately bureau to be one of the tourist places, especially for students, during their school excursions, as they can visit in large numbers to know about this philately bureau.”

Customers can get the philatelic materials at their door steps by opening philatelic deposit accounts. Currently, 1066 PD accounts are available at Mangaluru philatelic bureau.
