Chitradurga, Jun 19: An invitation card of a bride and groom hailing from Kotenadu near here is doing rounds for its unique design and content.
Venkatesh and Divya are all set to tie the knot on June 19 at Veerashaiva Kalyna Mantapa, Challakere in Chitradurga. However, a picture of an alcohol bottle printed on their wedding invitation has caught everyone’s attention. The wedding party wanted to tell their guests that alcohol will be served free of cost. Meanwhile, they have also shown responsibility by printing a warning that consuming alcohol is harmful for health.
The wedding hosts wanted to make sure that the guests are truly satisfied and will be arranging free liquor for their enjoyment post 8 pm. The name of the person who needs to be contacted for liquor is printed separately on the invitation.
Though the liquor is arranged, the responsibility of warning the guests about the ill effects of alcohol is being appreciated.
