Bangalore, May 12: Seeking to put at rest the speculation that the heads of a few ministers might roll if the party candidates fail to come out with a good show in their respective districts, BJP state president D V Sadananda Gowda said on Monday May 11 that the ministers will not be held responsible for the failure of the party candidates in the Lok Sabha election.
"All the ministers who were given charge of their districts have worked well for the success of the party candidates. The party will not hold them responsible for the success or failure of the respective candidates," he added. He sought to clarify, that the defeat of a candidate might comprise of many other issues, not alone the efforts put in by the ministers concerned. He also added that there are no complaints against any of the party leaders who took over the responsibility of election campaign.
Sadananda Gowda is hopeful that the party will annex over 20 seats in the Lok Sabha election. He also informed that the process of making appointments to the corporations and boards will be started after about a month since the central government is formed.
