Puttur, Jun 17: Neeti Charitable Trust and Blood Helpline held blood donation camp in association with Campco Blood Bank, here at Gauda Samaja Bhavan as part of blood donor’s day on June 16.
Rotary blood bank Puttur medical officer Dr Ramachandra Bhat who inaugurated the camp explained the importance of blood donation.
Forty four people donated blood. Rotary Campco blood bank Puttur doctors and staff helped in collecting blood.
The organizers presented a sapling to all the blood donors and created awareness on environment.
Neeti Charitable Trust Bengaluru state president Jayan T, ICYM Mangaluru central committee assistant secretary Anish, Neeti team Golithottu branch president Manoj, Blood helpline Karnataka administrators Ashraf Arabi Kalladka, Ifai Bannur Saleem Mura, office bearers of Neeti Charitable Trust Bengaluru, Kadaba and Blood Helpline Karnataka office bearers were present.
K M Sharif Kadaba of D Zone media compered the programme.
The organizers thanked all those who helped directly and indirectly toward the success of the camp and media representatives.
