Belagavi: Benevolent University grants 101 out of 100 marks to student!

Belagavi, Jun 13: At a time when students are struggling and racing against time and fatigue to get marks nearer to 100 that is maximum, a sixth semester student of K A Lokapur College in Athani taluk in the district has been allotted 101 out of the maximum possible marks of100 in Modern Auditing and Practices subject. The girl student on whom the university showered its magnanimity pursues B Com degree course.

Shyalashree Sanvaganva was surprised when she found out when the result was announced by the university a few days back that she had got 101 marks out of possible 100. She had secured 2,465 out of 4,400 marks. But he parents, who found out that in one of the subjects she got 101 marks, approached the college principal.

As soon as the authorities of Rani Channamma University came to know about their gaffe, they removed her marks card that was published online. But they did not mention the actual marks she has scored in this subject. Although the student tried to download her marks sheet online, she could not do so. She is yet to hear about her actual marks from the university.
