Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy to inaugurate study chair in Dharwad University

Dharwad, Jun 12: A programme to inaugurate Konkani study chair is scheduled in Dharwad regional science center, Karnataka University on June 14 at 3 pm. The programme will be held under the aegis of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and Konkani study chair, Karnataka University, Dharwad.

Minister of revenue and minister in charge of Uttara Kannada and Dharwad, R V Deshpande will inaugurate the programme. Karnataka university chancellor professor Pramod Gai will preside over the programme. Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president R P NaIK, GSB Samaja secretary M S Balagi and Daivajnya Samaja president Ravi S Gaunker will take part as guests of honour.

Karnataka University registrar, Prof C B Honnu Siddartha, Konkani study chair’s Prof Udaya S Raiker and Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy registrar Chandrahas Rai B have invited all Konkani community members, authors and scholars to take part in large number in the programme.
