Mangalore, Apr 20: P K Biju, president, Student Federation of India (SFI), said that the organization will fight against spreading communal hatred across India. He said that a democratic, secular India is their slogan for the 15th Lok Sabha election.
Addressing students at the ‘Student Political Conference’, organized by the SFI at Nasik Sabha Bhavan here on Monday April 20 he said that the Congress and BJP regime in the centre was anti-student governance and an alternate prime minister to the two major parties’ prime ministerial candidates will be the outcome of the parliamentary election.
“The state government has never responded to student-related issues during its 11-month rule. Creating communal tension, attack on minorities and women is the BJP’s agenda,” said Biju.
SFI state president H R Navin Kumar said that the Congress is contemplating selling the education sector and has been decreasing sanctions to the education sector. He alleged that the food allowance for students was much lesser than that of prisoners.
Kumar added that the government is supporting the hooligans, and dacoits instead of students who are builders of this nation.
State secretary N Ananth Nayak, central committee member Usha, Mallika, Prasanth Acharya, and Jeevanraj Kuttar were present.
