Byndoor, Apr 28: “The quantum of voting in the current Lok Sabha elections was good. BJP will lead by more than 50 thousand votes in Byndoor. BJP is expected to lead in seven other vidhan sabha constituencies also. We are confident of winning by an overall margin of more than one lac votes,” said former MP and Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency BJP candidate B Y Raghavendra.

Addressing press conference in Nempu he said that while 72% voting in 1952 Shivamogga Lok Sabha elections was the highest, 75% voting in the current elections is a record. “I congratulate the district administration, officials, party leaders, activists and intelligent voters,” he said.

Byndoor MLA B M Sukumar Shetty, BJP block president Sadananda Uppinakudru, chief secretary Balachandra Bhat, Deepak Kumar Shetty, Raita morcha state leader Dattatreya, Arun, zilla panchayat members Rohith Kumar Shetty and Shobha G Putran were present.
