Sullia, Mar 17: "Who are the JD(S) people to ask for disciplinary action against Janardhan Poojary?" retorted K Harish Kumar, district Congress president to the statement made by district JD(S) president Mohammed Kunhi, who had urged the Congress party to take disciplinary action against Janardhan Poojary for his anti-party statements and also praising of Modi.

Harish was responding to the query of scribes regarding the statement made by Mohammed Kunhi.

Harish further said, "Though JD(S) is our alliance partner in the state, we do not need their suggestions in the internal affairs of Congress. Janardhan Poojary is a national leader and I will not comment on his statements. We give attention only to the statements made by district level leaders of the Congress."

Harish also informed that there is a possibility of announcing the Lok Sabha candidate for the constituency of Dakshina Kannada on March 20.
