Bantwal, Mar 11: Several religious rituals of Brahmakalashotsava in Polali Rajarajeshwari temple are completed and several others are yet to be done.
The Prathiste and Jeevakalashabhisheka of Durgaparameshwari, Rajarajeshwari, Subrahmanya, Ganapathi and Bhadrakali deities were held in Moolagharbhagudi during auspicious Meenalagna on Sunday, March 10 in view of the temple renovation.
Ganahoma and Prasada Prathiste were held in the morning. Dhwajasthambha Prathiste, Dhwajakalashabhisheka, prathiste of other deities, Ankura pooje and Maha pooje were held in the morning.
The installation of flagstaff offered by Billava community was also held during those rituals. The peacock flag of gold coated peacock on its tip was erected on Kodi tree.
Pallapooje was held in the kitchen in the afternoon. Durgapooje, Indradi Dikpala Prathiste, Matrakapika, Nirmalyadhari Prathiste, Ankura Pooje, Mahabalipeethadhivasa, Kalashavasa Avasa Homa and Mahapooje for Kshetrapala and other deities were held.
