KMC Hospital Mangaluru wins prestigious FIST Award

Mumbai, Mar 5: The third edition of the leading trade event for fire safety & security - Fire & Security India Expo (FSIE) was held from February 28 to March 2 at Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Mumbai.

KMC Hospital Mangaluru has won prestigious FIST Award 2019 (finest India skills and talent) for ‘Safe and Secure Hospital of The Year’’ under the category of Safe & Secure Hospital Sector.

Raviraj- AGM Operations and Dr Sindhu from KMC Hospitals Mangaluru received the award from P Ragu Rtd DG of Police Maharashtra & Advisor RBI D K Shami Fire Advisor – Ministry Home Affairs government of India.

KMC Hospitals Mangaluru won this amongst more than 500 health care institutes which competed for this award which was scrutinised by the rich experienced people in the industry which includes advisers for Govt. of India.

Oberoi Hotels, government of Rajasthan, HSBC Bank, Mumbai Fire Brigade won the awards in other categories.

The awards happened in the Categories of Best Fire Safety in India- Manufacturing Sector, Hospital Sector, Services Sector Best Security in India, Make in India Best Innovation – Fire Safety & Security and Best Emergency Response.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Anand Venugopal, Medical Superintendents of KMC Hospitals Mangaluru told that it is indeed a delightful moment for KMC Hospitals to be recognised under the category of Safety & Security as KMC Hospitals have always been putting its best effort in making it a Qualitative and Safe Environment for providing Healthcare to people.
