H1N1 resurfaced again in Udupi district? 11 cases reported this year

Udupi, Feb 16: In the period from January 1 to February 15 of this year, 11 cases of H1N1 are reported in the district. Public are anxious and several rumours about the disease resurfacing are being heard in the society. However, the health department officials are saying that the situation is under control and there is no need to panic.

According to the health department officials, this year there are no signs of the disease increasing compared to previous years. In 2017, 524 cases and in 2018, 117 cases of H1N1 were reported. The officials are saying that the cases are on the decline.

H1N1 spreads from one person to another through breathing. The symptoms begin from fever and cold and progress to breathing difficulties, throat pain, and pneumonia and turn fatal. The affected person should be treated in the first stage itself. Priority should be given for cleanliness. The H1N1 affected patients should stay away, as far as possible, from public places.     a couple of days b4 h1n1 omlet shah was in raichoor & some bhaktas from udupi might have been in raichoor & dey got disease from him. don't allow omlet shah X2 karnataka.
