Soldier from Mandya among CRPF men martyred in terrorist suicide attack

Mandya, Feb 15: Guru H (33), son of Honnayya from Gudigere village near K M Doddi in Maddur taluk of the district happens to be one of the 42 security personnel who lost their lives in the suicide attack at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.

Guru, who had married just six months back, was a member of the 82nd battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). He was among a group of soldiers who were returning to Srinagar from Jammu after holidays.

 

The mortal remains of the martyred soldier would be brought to Mandya on Friday by an aircraft.

    I have one question
    The JEM released video of the person who blasted. He has clear that JEM wants a religion to speard and vanish all who don't believe. Their mission is clear.

    On the other hand, there are people who saying religion is peaceful. Why isn't there a cleanup inside religion and stop such things. I am sure terrorism started for political agenda but transformed into religious and no one is stopping it.

    RIP Sir Guru. Salute you all for ultimate sacrifice in securing the motherland.

    Unfortunately our selfish and corrupt politicians, hundreds of political parties with different ideologies based on region, religion, caste and sect, meaningless democratic freedom, inefficient and corrupt public administration system has all contributed to the present day situation.
    End of the day it is only our brave armed and para military forces pay the price with their lives leaving their families shattered and in grief. Our political leaders and public administration has all the money to waste running in hundred thousands of crores but there is no money to pay pension like OROP to our soldiers or to buy modern sophisticated weapons for the police and armed forces. Our policeman still using the out dated .303 rifles. This is the misery of this country.
    9-11, one attack on the USA soil changed the entire system in that country for better but in our case we go to negotiate with terrorists. Why the so called article 370 can not be scrapped and given a choice to people to stay or leave the country. Because of this one sick region why the entire nation has to pay the price with the life of our forces day after day. Why this menace can not be dealt with tough iron hand.
    God help our armed and protect them.

    With a great respect I need to ask a question for all the concerned higher authorities.
    As Guru took an bank loan to build a house for his family which was a dream of him to give a good life to his parents.
    As Guru the great martyred soldier who fought for us and the nation has lost his life for the country and his poor parents will not be able to pay back the loan. Can or will the governments or concerned people take any responsibility to pay the loan before
    the bank starts harassing this people who have sacrificed the life for the nation.
    Lets support all the families who have sacrificed their beloved ones for the nation
    and for us .

    Masood Azhar was released by the Atal Behari Vajpayee government in 1999, along with Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar and Omar Sheikh, as part of a prisoner exchange for passengers of the hijacked Indian Airlines flight IC-814....result of peace loving then BJP govt, we lost our jawans...sad

    What did you expect Mr vajpaye to act on that situation? His first priority was to save the lives of the people who were kidnapped.I don't think so he had any other option other than to release Masood azhar.I sympathise with Mr Vajapayee.He did his best to control the situation and ultimately he had no choice other than to succumb to their demands.So kindly stop blaming him for that.

    How this distardedly act will be avenged will be left to the government to take a call. But dear PM, pl ensure the perpitrators of this act will have no ass to sit bcs of the constant fire burning at their back. Let's not demonstrate to the world our most idiotic philosophy of 'ahimsa' & insult our brave brethren who laid down their lives for our sake.

    If Obama's of this world want to follow in the footsteps of Gandhi, let them do it. But not us. Whose policies continue to bleed this country till this day & made this great nation among weak states, cannot be the father of the nation.
