Mangaluru, Feb 14: As many as 64 days have passed since the fishing boat Suvarna Tribhuja with seven fishermen went missing. Investigating teams formed by the state and central governments are busy on the lookout for the missing boat. A group of news reporters prepared an artwork in sand at Panambur sea shore to create awareness in this direction.

The sand sculptor was prepared with the message ‘Save Suvarna Tribhuja’ with two artworks made to look like two people sleeping inside two shapes of fish.

It is being alleged now that the governments have taken the missing boat incident lightly. The government at the center has started investigations with the help of navy boats equipped with modern technology. There was news that the boat’s remains were found in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. It caused confusion and increased anxiety among the fishermen’s families.

News reporters from Ullal have tried to create awareness among investigating teams to find the missing fishing boats and the fishermen in it.

Vijayakarnataka’s Sathish Pundikai, V4’s Arif Kalkatta, Prajavani and Daijiworld’s Mohan Kuthar, Spandana’s Ashwin Kuthar, Abbakka channel’s Thejesh Gatty and Posakural’s Shivashanker were present.
