Bengaluru, Feb 13: "Chief minister Kumaraswamy had told three months ago that if required, he will bring people to the road. Accordingly he got the house of MLA Preetam Gowda attacked and showed his goondaism and low class of politics," said state BJP president Yeddyurappa, expressing his rage against the CM.
Speaking to the scribes here on Wednesday, B S Yeddyurappa further said, "We do not bend to the threats of JD (S). We have the strength to face these issues. We will bring this to the notice of central home minister Rajnath Singh. Revanna and Devegowda are not able to digest the fact that a youth from BJP has won in Hassan. If they try to demoralize him, it will not work."
"If they try to do goondaism, it will not give any benefit. One of our activist is attacked and he is admitted to the hospital. I will personally visit Hassan and hold a protest meeting against the goondagiri of these people," added Yeddyurappa.
Yeddyurappa expressed his anger against the police officers and said, "Our activists are assaulted and attempt is made to kill them. The police have to arrest the culprits responsible for such an act. Otherwise we will have to protest against the police also. I will inform the central home minister of the same and ask him to take proper action."
