Udupi, Jan 27: Sri Laxmivarateerta Swami of Shiroor Math undertook ‘Shavasana’, a yoga posture of floating in water from 2.30 pm to 3.45 pm on Monday January 26.



He first swam two kilometres into the Arabian Sea at Kodibengre, near here. The Swamiji is an ardent swimmer who took up the posture during the partial solar eclipse to cleanse the soul during this auspicious moment.
