Udupi, Feb 8: “The staff and officials here have created an environment which is suitable for work. There are staffs here that are intelligent and are extending excellent cooperation,” said deputy commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis who is transferred to Bengaluru as director of the Department of Tourism.
She was speaking in the farewell programme held for her at Atal Bihari Vajpayee auditorium, Rajatadri by zilla panchayat, police department, different government departments in the building complex, taluk administration, taluk panchayat and others on Thursday.
“I have received an opportunity to work for three years and two months in Udupi district. I have gained experience during the period. Teamwork was possible here. I have experienced it during last monsoon floods, during elections and during the visit of President of India. Officers and staff work hard to complete the work assigned to them. All have extended cooperation and support. Provide the same support to new DC Hephsiba Rani too,” she said.
