Udupi, Jan 24: In an effort to create awareness about opportunities in higher education among students, Manipal University, in association with the G. Shankar Family Trust and the Mogaveera Youth Association, will hold a career guidance programme here on Monday January 26.
Addressing presspersons here, Pro-Chancellor of Manipal University H.S. Ballal said that the programme would be held between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Shamili Hall at Ambalpady.
“Experts drawn from the university and other colleges of the district will provide valuable information to students which will help them in their decision making as far as their careers are concerned,” he said.
Experts would deliver lectures on different courses, the scope and other details. Students from Class X to graduation-level could attend the programme. “Parents should also take part in the programme,” he said.
Registrar of Manipal University G.K. Prabhu, Registrar (International Programmes) H. Vinod Bhat, and Director (Admissions) H.N. Udaya Shankar, were present.
