Bengaluru: Man arrested for sending obscene pictures to female model on Facebook

Bengaluru, Feb 6: Police have arrested a person, who used to work as a front page designer for magazines, for sending obscene pictures through Facebook to a female model and pressurizing her to have sex with him.

Thammanna Fakirappa Hadimani (52) is the accused who is in police custody now. He used to design the front pages of Kannada and English weekly magazine. He was arrested from a lodge near Gokak bus stand of Belagavi district.

Thammanna got acquainted with the female model on Facebook. Later he started sending his nude pictures to the lady model and pressurized her to have physical relationship with him. The model was sick of the continuous harassment of Thammanna.

When the harassment from Thammanna became unbearable, the model reported the matter to the Cyber Crime police. Acting on the complaint filed by the female model, the cyber crime police arrested the accused. Further investigation is done by the police.
