Jubail, Jan 23: Nassir (Cherpandel), aged 38, died here in Jubail, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday January 21 noon at around 11 am.
He was suffering from severe chest pain and breathed his last in his room in Jubail. He had been in the Gulf countries for the last about 15 years, out of which he lived in Dubai for nearly five years. Thereafter, he was in Jeddah and Riyadh before coming to this city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Presently, he was working in the Gulf Column General Construction Company here since the last five months in the capacity of a Sales Coordinator.
Nassir was the son of Abdul Hameed and Beefathima couple, who hail from Bunder in Mangalore. He is survived by his wife, parents and brothers and sisters and a number of friends and well-wishers. Nassir was very sociable and friendly with others. The Gulf Column workers, his close relatives, friends, well-wishers including Abdul Salam from Gulf Column, Althaf Bajpe, Deerah-Riyadh and others in and around Jubail, Riyadh and Jeddah have expressed their deep condolences at his untimely death and have prayed for his eternal peace.
The funeral rites will probably be performed within two days. Presently, the body has been kept the morgue of Jubail Hospital for the legal formalities to be completed.
