Udupi, Jan 22: The annual feast of Our Lady of Miracles Church, Kallianpur, near here, was held with fervour on Wednesday January 21.  

The festal Eucharistic Mass was offered by Episcopal vicar Fr Baptist Menezes along with Kallianpur Our Lady of Miracles parish priest and deanery forane Fr Marcel Saldanha, Fr Vijay Lobo, Fr Fredrick Mascarenhas, Fr Valerian D’Silva and other priests.

Raymond and Lilly Dais were the Pirgent of the annual feast.  Earlier, the honourary candles were distributed to all the sponsors of the festal Holy Mass by parish priest Fr Saldanha.  

The vespers were held on Tuesday January 20 evening. Kallianpur deanery priests and hundreds of parishioners were present at the ceremony. 

An attractive display of crackers was held after the vespers ceremony on Tuesday.  

Parish priest Fr Saldanha announced next year’s Pirgent to be Celine Fernandes and Wilson Fernandes (Fernandes and Associates), on the same occasion.
