Mangalore, Jan 21: The annual feast of Bendore St Sebastian’s Church was celebrated  with fervour on Sunday January 18.

Fr Muller Charitable Institutions director Fr Patrick Rodrigues offered the festal Eucharistic Mass at 9.30 am on Sunday along with small Catholic community director Fr Gilbert D’Souza, Bendore parish priest Fr Peter Noronha, Fr Vincent, Fr Francis Rodrigues, and other priests. 

A large number of parishioners including faithful from nearby parishes attended the Holy Mass.

Earlier, nine days of novenas was held in spiritual preparation of the annual feast. 

A short play by playwright and editor of parish bulletin ‘Bendorecho Talo’ Grace D’Souza and ‘Bokro Baba Bokro’ Konkani drama by playwright Claude D’Souza were staged as part of the cultural programme on Sunday evening at the parish grounds. ‘Jovi’ music troupe of Mervyn and talented parishioners assisted the drama troupe with their singing.
