Bangalore, Jan 20: The Lioness Club of Bangalore Spoorthi Dist 324–D6, organized a visit of district and associate chairperson of the Lioness Council on Sunday January 18 at New Krishna Sagar, HBR Layout, Bangalore.
President Pushpa welcomed the gathering and Amrita performed an invocation dance.
Club secretary Janaki presented the report briefing about the club’s service to street children, old age homes including the personal hygiene programme, orphanages, educating girl students, pledging of eyes and the like amounting to Rs 68,500 till date.
District chairman Deepak Suman applauded the efforts of the members especially the personal hygiene manicure and pedicure which has been appreciated by Lions International too. He said that Lioness Club of Spoorthi was the first to start this activity.
Ushakumari compered the programme while Meera Dutt proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with a high tea.
