Bengaluru, Jan 31: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will be visiting Karnataka on February 10. BJP has arranged to hold a meeting on Thursday January 31 to discuss about preparations to be made for the fast approaching Lok Sabha election. Discussion about Modi's visit is also expected to figure prominently at the meeting along with other things.
State BJP general secretary, N Ravikumar, said that the said meeting is being convened to discuss about preparations to be made for the Lok Sabha election. "The meeting will be presided over state president of BJP, B S Yeddyurappa, Office bearers of state BJP unit, district presidents, in-charge of Lok Sabha constituencies, their assistants, as well as presidents of all the Morchas of the party will be participating in the meeting," he informed.
He said that the meeting will also discuss in detail the visit of the Prime Minister to the state on February 10. "Discussions about preparations and meetings, conventions, rallies etc to be undertaken during February and March to the run up to the Lok Sabha election will also be held at the meeting," he added.
