Udupi, Jan 8: Yakshagana Kalaranga befittingly deserved the Kille Award for its yeomen service in promoting Yakshagana art form since the past 33 years. The Swamiji, speaking at the ceremony for conferring of the said award, organized here by Kedambady Kille Pratistan, Puttur on Monday January 6, said that the currently prevalent practice of projecting the evil as good, should be discontinued once and for all in the best interests of the society. Yakshagana Kalaranga has rendered its valuable services to the society without expecting any laurels or recognition, at a time when organizations and individuals keep hankering to corner the awards, he commented.
