Udupi, Dec 24: A lecture on ‘Conciliation of Theology, Astrology, and Ayurveda’, was held at Sanskrit College, recently.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tanmay Goswamy, director, Punarva Ayurvedic Hospital, Kunjibettu, said that the combination of theology, astrology, and Ayurveda, can cure any disease.

The study of theology and astrology by an Ayurvedic doctor helps disseminate knowledge and power of theology to the world, he said.

Presiding over the function, Sri Sugunendra Teerta Swami, Paryaya Math, distributed prizes to the winners of the Bhagvad Gita recitation held on the occasion of Gita Jayanti.

U K Raghavendra Rao, secretary of the institution was felicitated, while Ratnakumar, secretary, congratulated him on the occasion.

Dr H K Suresh Acharya welcomed the gathering. Sagri Raghavendra Acharya, proposed the vote of thanks. Shivaprasad Tantri co-ordinated the programme. Ramadasa Shivattaya was present on the occasion.
