Mangalore, Dec 24: ‘Jai Kannadamma’, a weekly published from Beltangady will celebrate its 10th year of publication at Guru Narayana Sabha Bhavana, Beltangady, on Sunday December 28.
 
Speaking to press persons on December 24 Wednesday, writer Aravinda Chokkadi said litterateur Dr U R Anantha Murthi will inaugurate the programme, Dr Palthady Ramakrishna Achar, president, Tulu Sahitya Academy, will preside over the function. Seminars on ‘Communalism-Conversion-Terrorism’, and ‘Corruption-Literature-Media’ are also being organized as part of the event, he added.
 
Prof Amrith Someshwar, story writer Sridhar Balagar, K R Teja Kumar, and Chandrakala Nandavar, will deliver lectures at seminars. Journalists, lecturers, and students, will also present papers at the event, he informed. Editor Devi Prasad was present at the press meet.
