Daijiworld Media Network - Bahrain (SP) Bahrain, Dec 24: Konkan Singers Club held its Annual Christmas Tree Party recently at the Papillon Restaurant .
The entertainment secretary called upon all the members present, to deposit their membership cards and held a daw of lots at 8.05 pm. Membership draw was taken up at the beginning of the function to ensure that all the members turn up at the function on time.
Members and their families participated in various games held separately for the adults and the children. The children sang Christmas carols. Santa's presence delighted and cheered all those who were present, specially the children.
Santa Claus gave away balloons and chocolates to all the children present. Santa then distributed gift vouchers to those children of the members who are below 12 years of age. Parents took snaps of their children with Santa.
All the participants were served with buffet dinner, catered by Papillon Restaurant. The programme was compeered by Oswald D'Souza.
