Mangalore, Dec 23: The 'Janjagaran Abhiyan' on Anti-terrorism act was held near Urwa Bus Stand on Monday December 22 at 8 pm.
The camp was organized by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
As a part of camp, speech, dance and street play on anti-terrorism activities were conducted on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Ratnakar Nayak, district speaker, BJP, said that controlling terrorist activities is in the hands of Muslims residing in the country.
UPA government is responsible for the increase of terrorist activities in the country. If Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) was not banned, terror activities would not have grown to such an extent, he said.
The camp was also held near Central Market, Private Bus Stand and Mangaladevi Circle.
MLA Yogish Bhat, Sudhakar Joshi, president, BJP Legal Cell, Monappa Bhandary, president, BJP Dakshina Kannada district, Satish Prabhu, city president, BJP, Guruprasad Shetty, president, PBJ Yuva Morcha, Nitin Kumarm district vice-president, BJP, Franklin Monteiro, leader, BJP Minority community and others were present on the occasion.
