Belagavi: Former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi leaves again for unknown destination

Daijiworld Media Network - Belagavi (SP)

Belagavi, Jan 3: Former minister, Ramesh Jarkiholi, who has differences with Congress leaders on several issues, and who had gone to an undisclosed destination after he was axed from the state cabinet, had not been seen for a week. He suddenly surfaced at Gokak in the district late night on Tuesday. However, on Wednesday morning, without giving inkling to others of his future plans, he disappeared to an unknown place.

Even circles close to Ramesh Jarkiholi expressed ignorance about his plans and current location. Some sources have speculated that he would have left for Malwa in Gadhinglaj taluk, Maharashtra.

Somashekhar Reddy speaks

Addressing the media persons at Ballari on Wednesday, Ballari city MLA, G Somashekhar Reddy, said that anyone is welcome to join BJP towards making B S Yeddyurappa chief minister again. He said that his only goal now is to see that BJP forms the government and Yeddyurappa becomes chief minister. He however hastened to add that none of the disgruntled Congress MLAs have contacted him so far.

To a question, he said that Ballari rural MLA, B Nagendra, will be treated like he was being treated when he was with the party in the past. "We continue to be friends. Friendship and party politics are two different issues," he said.
