Bengaluru, Jan 1: Minister of water resources D K Shivakumar’s visit to BJP leader, former union minister S M Krishna has given rise to speculations.

S M Krishna is said to be the political mentor of D K Shivakumar. However, this visit made people curious. While some thought something major will happen in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, others kept wondering if S M Krishna will return to Congress.

However, sources say that all rumours are false as D K Shivakumar met S M Krishna only to wish him Happy New Year and take blessings from his political guru.

S M Krishna had joined BJP in March 2017 alleging that he has been cornered in Congress party. There were allegations later that S M Krishna was sidelined by BJP during Karnataka Vidhan Sabha elections or by elections. Will S M Krishna who had left Congress and joined BJP, return to Congress because he has been cornered by BJP too? Only time will tell.
