Why should police stop vehicles at such a narrow road? Can't they do such checking in wide roads? Common sense seems to be lacking here. They do such things at nanthoor too which is a junction with steep gradient.

Indeed a sad event in the life and history of a young man. It is time that the buses and lorries are fitted with speed governors.

My sympathies to the relatives of the poor deceased person

Speed governors? Why Sir? This isn't a case of overspeeding. This death is the result of callous attitude of the traffic police

This accident is not due to speed. It is due to negligence of ignorance of civic bodies and reluctance of traffic police to put up checkpoints at a place where there is no proper parking space.

Most of our public works run on 60:40 scheme.
40% of project cost is spent. balance 60% goes to pockets of some as commission /bribe and also as profits to contractor.
Now we see the result of it.
    Innocent Cleaner is suffering now.

Here deffo mistake is not by police. they really help us here to move the vehicles peacefully.
All the bad quality of work and our so-called politicians. people who stop all the vehicles on road are jobless who also cause inconvenience to other commuters.

It's the drainage slabs which fell or broken when vehicle moved on it. It clearly shows how much good work has been done by the contractor where the slabs cannot withhold a truck which is loaded only with wood. Bad quality of work, contractor needs to punished here not the traffic cops. Very bad infrastructure.
All the hospital bills shall be borne by the contractor or the department which allotted the contracts to carry out such a bad work. Compensation should be given to the injured man by the contractor or the department.
