Udupi, Dec 12: The inaugural function of the Desha Shakti Seva Sangatane and a free health camp will be held at 9.00 am on Sunday December 14.

Sri Sugunendrateerta Swami of Puttige Math, will inaugurate the Sangatane in a function to be held at Sri Krishna Math Rajangan, on Sunday morning. 

Fr Baptist Menezes , parish priest, Our Lady of Sorrows Church, and Episcopal vicar, H Mohammed Yasin, president, Udupi Muslim Federation, Sitaram Shetty, director, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, Udupi, district health officer M Manje Gowda, Dr G S Krishna Perdoor, and Dr Bhaskar Acharya Koteshwar, will be the chief guests on the occasion.

Manje Gowda will also be resource person providing health information. The Desha Shakti Seva Sangatane is a registered service organization committed to extending health care facilities to the elderly from the economically backward community, women empowerment, environment conservation, and youth resources development, stated their press release.
