Mangalore, Dec 12: The Swabhimani Vedike Conference will be held at M S Seva Mandir of Shantinagar, Jeppu, on Sunday December 14 at 3 pm.

K Ram Bhat Urimajalu, former MLA, will inaugurate the function and preside over it.

Generally, after a new government comes into being, the first things to improve must include police stations, taluk offices, and government hospitals. But no development has been seen so far in the state, said Ram Bhat, former MLA, speaking at the press conference on Friday December 12.

The BJP was said to be a party with a difference, right now it does not seem better or worse than any other party, he said. 

Anna Vinayachandra, former MLC, Shakuntala Shetty, former MLA, Balakrishna Borkar, former president, zilla panchayat, Lokesh Hegde, former president, Puttur Town Municipal Council, P Gopalkrishna Banari, former presidet, APMC, Sanjeev Nayak Kalleka and M B Vishwanath Rai, Swabhimani Credit Souhardha Sahakari Niyamita, and Sulochana Alva, women’s leader, will be the chief guests.

Shakuntala Shetty, Lokesh Hegde, Bhaskar Rao, Valerian D’Souza, Stany D’Souza, Sanjeev Kalleka, and Mariamma Thomas, were present at the press conference.
