Udupi, Dec 12: ‘Kishora Yaksha Sambrama’, the staging of 42 Yakshagana plays, will be held from Saturday December 13 to Saturday January 3, at Sri Krishna Math Rajangan and Ambalapady temple, here. It is being organized by the Yaksha Shikshana Trust for the students of 42 schools that come under the purview of the legislative assembly constituency here, said Murali Kadekar, secretary, Yaksha Shikshana Trust.
Addressing media persons at the press conference held here on Thursday December 11, Murrali Kadekar said that Puttige Sri Sugunendrateerta Swami will inaugurate the event on Saturday December 13. The programme will be presided over by Dr V S Acharya, district-in-charge minister.
Kumble Sundar Rao, president, Yakshagana Academy, Ravindra Nayak, proprietor, Hanuman Motor Transports, and DDPI K Anand, will be the chief guests on the occasion.
Subramanya Basri and S V Bhat of Yaksha Shikshana Trust, were present at the press conference.
