Mysuru, Dec 13: Former chief minister, Siddaramaiah, who was facing allegation of illegally denotifying Mysore Development Authority (MDA) site, got a big relief on Wednesday, December 12.
The police here filed B report in the court on Wednesday, duly concluding that the allegation lacks substance. In the meanwhile, RTI activist, Gangaraju, who had filed the said complaint in Lakshmipuram police station here in the past, has decided to question the police finding by approaching the district court.
Gangaraju had filed complaint in the court in the past, accusing Siddaramaiah of building house by illegally denotifying MDA site. The court had asked Lakshmipuram police station to register a case, investigate the matter, and file report. The police who registered case against MDA former chairman, C Basave Gowda, immediate past chairman, D Dhruvakumar, and current commissioner, Kantharaju, said in their finding that the allegations made are baseless. The police also say that the allegations were backed by mistaken perception.
