Mangalore: Krista Namana to be Telecast Live in 50 Countries on Dec 20

Mangalore, Dec 9: Doordarshan, Bangalore and Sandesha Foundation for culture and education, with the assistance of Mangalore Christian Council, will be jointly organizing a Christmas cultural programme Krista Namana on Saturday December 20 at the Milagres Jubilee Hall in the city from 5 pm to 8 pm. This programme will be telecast live to 50 countries.

Archbishop Bernard Moras of Bangalore will be the guest of honour while Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza of Mangalore, Bishop Emeritus Dr C L Jathanna of Karnataka Southern diocese of CSI, Dr B M Hegde, pro-chancellor of Manipal University, Dr Mohan Alva, founder-president of Alva's Education Foundation and noted litterateur Sara Aboobakkar will be the chief guests on the occasion.

The programme comprises of carols, tableaux, ballets, dances and Christmas messages.
