Mangalore: Rosario School Golden Jubilee Closing Ceremony from Dec 11

Mangalore, Dec 7: The closing ceremony of the post centennial golden jubilee celebration of Rosario High School and silver jubilee festivities of English Medium Higher Primary School will be held at the school premises from Thursday December 11 to Saturday December 13.
Speaking to media persons at the Press Club on Saturday December 6, Aloysius D’Souza, headmaster, Rosario High School, said that on the first day of the ceremony, prizes will be distributed to winners of various events, which had been conducted as part of the jubilee celebration from January.
The jubilee finale will be held on the second day of the event. MP D V Sadananda Gowda, Swami Poornakamanda, president, Sri Ramakrishna Mutt, and philanthropist Ronald Colaso will be the chief guests. MLA Yogish Bhat, B Ramanath Rai, MLC Ganesh Karnik, Dr A Abdul Rahiman, retired vice-chancellor, Calicut University, C Chamegowda, assistant director, Department of Public Education, Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza, secretary, Catholic Education Board, will be the guests of honour. Alumni Association Day will be held on the final day of the ceremony, he said.
The establishment of an under privileged students’ educational fund, release of the school website and souvenir, felicitation of former conveners, headmasters, and retired teachers of the school, will also be organized during the three-day event, added D’Souza.
Fr Staney Govias, convener, Rosario Educational Institutions, Jennet Fernandes, Fr Alwin Serao, and Sr Antony Mary, were present at the press meet.
