Bengaluru, Dec 8: MLA C T Ravi has alleged that scams are rampant in JDS-Congress coalition government. In addition, he criticised former chief minister Siddaramaiah also.
Speaking in a news conference held in BJP office here he said that the allegations by BJP of illegalities by the coalition government can also be found in CAG report. Chief minister Kumaraswamy has clarified that there can be differences when the size of budget rises. “But it is people’s money and every paise should be accounted for,” urged Ravi.
“Economic scholar and former chief minister Siddaramaiah who has presented budget thirteen times too has spoken lightly about the budget. There should be detailed investigations into the budget of the government. A house committee should be formed for the purpose,” he urged.
“How can the state government which has several lapses in its functioning point fingers at BJP? The chief minister does not know when to get annoyed. He was annoyed when a union minister was speaking about central funds,” he said.
“The centre has provided sufficient funds to the state. Funds were released for more than six times during the last four years for NDRF and SDRF. The union government does not discriminate,” said Ravi justifying the Modi government.
