Mangaluru, Dec 7: In the history of Coastalwood, for the first time 5D audio technology has been introduced.

The 5D audio technology has been used in the upcoming Tulu movie 'Illokkel' directed by Dr Suresh Kotian and produced by Vasudeva Kotian and D M Shetty.

The 5D audio is nothing but the advanced version of stereo sound technology. There are 'binaural recordings' that are reproductions of sound the way human ears hear it. In fact, the word 'binaural' literally means 'using both ears.' When one listens to a binaural recording using headphones, one can perceive distinct and genuine 360° sound.

The songs of this movie have been recorded at Chennai. Kollywood singer Tippu has been introduced to Tulu industry for the first time through 'Takila' song, another melody is sung by Mahim Ramdas. The winner of Panambur Beach festival has also recorded a romantic track of this movie.

The music has been directed by Raj Sha while Suresh and Vinyas scored music for this movie.

Aravind Bolar, Bhoojaraj Vamanjoor, Naveen D Padil, Advithi Shetty, Nireeksha Shetty, Bhavya Gowda, Vismaya Vinayak, Umesh Mijar, VJ Vineeth, Seetharam kateel, Kuribond Ranga and many others are seen in supporting roles in this movie.
