Bengaluru: All districts are equal - CM during Rajyotsava award ceremony

Bengaluru, Nov 30: "When it comes to development, the government treats all the districts of the state as equal. The rule of the coalition government is not limited to one or two districts," said chief minister (CM) H D Kumaraswamy.

Kumaraswamy was speaking after honouring the Rajyotsava award winning achievers at the Ravindra Kalakshetra in the city on Thursday, November 29.

Continuing his speech the CM said, "Some people are accusing that the coalition government is limited to one or two districts of the state. But we have never done any discrimination or that sort. We are working with the motto that 'Whole Karnataka is one."

"If you see the list of the Rajyotsava awardees, you will come to know the priority and commitment of the government. The list of Rajyotsava awardees has nullified the accusation that our government is limited to one or two districts," added Kumaraswamy.

H D Kumaraswamy further said, "The aim of the present government is the all-round development of the state and it is working in that direction. The coalition government will complete the full term of five years without any doubt. If the government strays from its way, let the commoner give advice to the government."

"Media should work as a bridge between the government and the people instead of creating rift. When the government deviates from the line, media should correct the same," opined Kumaraswamy.
