Bengaluru, Nov 28: Students appearing for SSLC examinations in March-April 2019 will not be allowed to wear wrist watches.
As modern smart watches with recording facilities are found these days, Karnataka State Board of Secondary Education has banned wrist watches in the examination halls to prevent malpractices.
The board has meanwhile decided to hang wall clocks in all the rooms for the facility of students. “A circular will be sent to all the concerned after the examination time table is finalized,” said KSEEB director V Sumangala.
KSEEB had taken up several measures such as CCTV cameras in all examination centres, identity cards to all the subordinate staff in the examination halls, ban on mobile phones and others during last year’s examinations.
