Moodbidri, Nov 19: 'Sadhana' the association of Catholic entrepreneurs of Moodbidri deanery, headed by Catholic Sabha, was inaugurated at Corpus Christi Church Hall, here on Sunday, November 18, 2018.
Rolphie D'Costa, president, Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Pradesh, Walter Nandalike, founder, Daijiworld Media Group, Anil Lobo, Chairman, MCC Bank, graced the inaugural ceremony as chief guests.
In his inaugural address, Rolphie said, "By inaugurating 'Sadhana', a wonder has happened in the circle of Catholic businesspersons in the town. They planned to inaugurate the same on the 40th annual celebration of Catholic Sabha and made it a reality. Definitely, it will lead the community and Catholic business world. It is a dream of a few people. But in future, it should cover large number of business fraternity,"
In his motivational speech, Walter Nandalike said, "A forum is very essential to take care and help each other in the business world. I am very happy to know that the Catholic Sabha took an initiative to form an association for Catholic businesspersons in this town. Hope it will set an objective to encourage the youths to take up business and support their creative and innovative ideas in business,"
"Business personalities should be generous towards the society and should concentrate on others. If they get success in this, they can build their business very easily and will not face identity crisis. Of course, there are many challenges in business. But positive strategy and right thinking always help to beat the challenges. We should think that setback is always temporary. If a person wants to become a successful businessperson, he should be ready to take the risk. Instead of copying others, young entrepreneurs should think of creative and innovative business," Walter added.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Lobo said, "After the successful ‘Catholic Samajotsava', now the Catholic Sabha of Moodbidri has inaugurated 'Sadhana' the association of Catholic entrepreneurs. This is a great and model initiative. I congratulate all those who have worked behind this and wish all success in future. Definitely, it will unite Christian businesspersons and pave the way for the rise of great leaders. Hope this association will help the entrepreneurs to give a proper idea of governmental business policies and felicities."
Rajesh Mendes, president, Sadhana, welcomed the guests and gathering. Harry Rego briefed the activities of Catholic Sabha. Ronald Serrao, secretary, rendered the vote of thanks. Avil D'Souza, compered the event.
