Mangaluru Nov 18: President of Billava Seva Samithi Maninalkur, Purushottama Poojary along with other dignitaries inaugurated 'Sri Prapthi Yeletrisira 2018', the 7th year celebration of drama troupe Sri Prapthi Telikeda Kalavider Kudla, here at Town Hall on Sunday, November 18.
Addressing the gathering Purushottam Poojary said, "Sri Prapthi Telikeda Kalavider Kudla is celebrating their seventh year of inception. Talents do not come to us by birth, but it comes to us through the encouragement and support of our parents, teachers or through associations. This drama troupe is striving hard to entertain us with programmes, and it is our duty to support, encourage and appreciate their efforts.”
Managing director Daijiworld media private limited Walter Nandalike said, "Tuluvas will be happy if our Tulu language is included in 8th schedule of our constitution. Under Prashanth C K Sri Prapthi Telikeda Kalavider Kudla has stepped in to its seventh year. In these seven years, they have given several programmes. Prashanth C K is part of Daijiworld since four years and he has a wonderful talent and is one of the versatile actors who can stick to any role through his show. I wish the best for the entire team and may they conduct many such programmes in coming years.”
Drama artiste Namitha Kiran, dancer Sachin Kulai and Yakshagana artiste Naveen Shetty were felicitated on the occasion.
Prior to the inaugural ceremony, cultural programmes were held. After the inaugural ceremony, Sri Prapthi Thelikeda Kalavider Kudla performed their successful Tulu drama 'Pacchu Patherodu' directed by Prashanth C K.
Naveen Shetty compered the event.
Social worker P C Sukumar, partner Ace Promoters and Developers Jeethesh and others were present.
