Chikkamagalur, Nov 15: The taluk of Kadur, which is called the land that is under permanent drought is witnessing an unexpected and rare phenomenon.
Water is gushing out from the borewell of the temple at Kandugadahalli in the taluk of Kadur since two days.
A borewell was drilled a year ago in the compound of Someshwar Swamy temple of Kandgadahalli. Only half inch water was flowing out of the borewell pipe since that time. However, since two days water is continuously flowing out in full force from the borewell. The devotees of the temple are saying that this is due to the power of Someshwar Swamy, the deity of the temple.
Earlier a lamp was lit in the water, which has taken the villagers by surprise. Now the water gushing out of the borewell has led the people to believe in the divine powers of the deity of the temple. Locals are saying that in this part of the village, several miracles keep on happening due to the power of Someshwar Swami.
