The incidence of diabetes mellitus is increasing in the world and India has the second largest number of diabetes patients numbering almost 65.1 million. Among all the states in India, Karnataka has the sixth largest number of proven diabetes and is third in India for prediabetics. This shocking number has to be taken seriously as diabetes patients are at higher risk of diabetic foot diseases like diabetic neuropathy and non healing ulcers etc.
SIMS & RC is well equipped with a trained diabetologist, foot care super specialists and physiotherapy centre to address these problems.
Srinivas Institute of Medical Science & Research Centre is a premier professional college sponsored by A Shama Rao Foundation which has three decades of track record in the field of education. The foundation has well diversified presence with a string of 14 reputed educational institutions.
