Moodbidri, Nov 9: Police personnel of the town police station here succeeded in arresting Ibrahim Kaleel from Murali in Bellare, Sullia taluk, on Thursday November 8. Kaleel has been charged with spreading communally harmful messages by opening fake Facebook (FB) accounts, besides posing death threat to an entrepreneur.

A case had been registered against Kaleel four months back. He is employed at Abu Dhabi.

He had opened several fake Facebook accounts which were used to spread communal hatred and spread sacrilegious material. He had been accused of posing murder threat to Abdul Lathif, who runs a business in the town and also has business interests at Sullia. As Kaleel was abroad, the police had been unable to act on the complaint although the case was registered on July 25 this year.

After getting information that Ibrahim was on a visit to his native place on holiday on October 31, the police from here went to Sullia, took him into custody and brought him here. On being produced in the court, he was remanded to judicial custody of 15 days.

    His own community people.
    It is sunny vs Salafi.
He has less tolerance for other beliefs, so is a fundamentalist.
But not a intentional law breaker. Less police submit evidence n justice prevail.
Let the man learn religion is required for self , not for public.

Utilize your intellect to create harmony, unity - not to spread hatred/animosity.

You can't evade the law for long, on or the other day you will be caught.
