Bengaluru: DCP Annamalai warns Duniya Vijay, to encash bond in case of fresh trouble

Bengaluru, Nov 8: The police had summoned actor, Duniya Vijay, as well as his second wife, Keerthi Gowda, and first wife, Nagarathna, relating to frequent scenes created by them that has been causing nuisance.

Except Nagarathna, the others including the parents of Vijay appeared before the police on Wednesday November 7. During this period, deputy commissioner of police (DCP) (city south), K Annamalai, warned that Vijay would lose five lac rupees in case of fresh trouble involving himself and his family.

On this occasion, the actor was made to furnish an indemnity bond for five lac rupees.

The Girinagar police here had registered a case under section 107 of Criminal Procedure Code on their own against Vijay and others. The police had named the actor and his first wife, Nagarathna, in the case. Nagarathna however, absented from the questioning session. She is said to be lying low for the present as a video of her attacking Keerthi Gowda has emerged and she has been named as accused in the case. She reportedly had escaped when police visited her for questioning.

Annamalai, who conducted an inquiry of the family, warned that the indemnity bond would be impounded if any fresh cases of trouble relating to the family surfaces.
