More importantly the film’s content is very strong and every character in the movie has depth in it. Another major plus point of the movie is both the lead characters, me and Nirajan Kumar Shetty, hail from Mangaluru.
'Jagath Khiladi movie is all about a man who turned out to be a con man because of his past and he plays with the people's mind and their weaknesses and it is a universal content,” said Ameetha Kulal.
Speaking about her role Ameetha said, “It is not really a love interest or a romantic story line. But my character has lot things to do in the movie. I play a prominent role in getting the twist in the movie. Every character in the movie has depth that audience cannot forget the character after watching the movie.”
Speaking about playing a pregnant woman in the film, Ameetha said, "It very difficult to play a pregnant character. It would easy for a senior actor who has experience in real life of being pregnant, but for a young artiste like me it was very difficult. I have done lot of home work in portraying the pregnant character be it walking style, way of sitting, their behaviour and I watched couple of movies to understand the role. I hope audience will my role.
"Audience cannot miss movie like 'Jagath Khiladi. This will definitely turn out to be a ‘paisa vasool’ movie. The film has strong content, character, and performance. It also gives out the message that to be careful with whom you mingle, be careful with whom you share your weaknesses or be careful of people around to avoid in getting conned, says Ameetha Kulal.
Speaking about her upcoming projects, Ameetha said, "Whenever I opt a movie, I focus on the character. In the last two released my character was totally different so as in 'Jagath Khiladi'. Every character I change my look. I have two more movies coming in 'Gift Box' and 'C' which will soon be releasing.
She also said, “I hail from Mangaluru and we have Mangaluru dialect while speaking Kannada. Many actors and actress in Kannada industry will not get chance to dub the movie in their own voice. I have made it a point that nobody else will dub the movie that am doing and I will dub my own dialogues. In spite of coming from Mangaluru and having Mangaluru dialect I have dubbed for ‘Jagath Khiladi’ as well as for my upcoming movies.”
