Mangaluru, Nov 1: The Hindi dubbing rights for Coastalwood's much-awaited movie 'Umil' has been sold thereby becoming the first Tulu film to be sold for Hindi dubbing. The rights have been sold to a Mumbai based company.
Since the announcement of ‘Umil’, cine lovers are awaiting the film as it is the first Coastalwood film with loads of graphics. Ranjith Suvarna will soon reveal the release date of the film.
‘Umil’ has been produced by Karunakar Shetty and Prajnesh. The dubbing process of the film took place at the very well-known Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd in the city. The VFX work of the film was completed in Canada.
Actor Umesh Mijar is playing the lead for the first time. Pooja Shetty is the lead actress. Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Chethan Rai Mani, Sathish Bandale and Deepak Rai are seen in prominent roles.
Recently Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar has rendered his voice to the film track. The music for the same is composed by Ravi Basrur. Actors Aravind Bolar and Arjun Kapikad have sung two songs written by Keerthan Bhandary. Umesh Mijar too has sung a song written by Prashanth C K.
